Which platforms does Nightshift support?
Discord servers and Telegram groups. Each has its own bot and dashboard, built around how that platform works.
Can anyone add it?
Nightshift is invite-only for now. When you add it, its owner reviews the request, and moderation starts as soon as your community is approved. Until then it doesn't touch anything or log any IPs.
What if it bans the wrong person?
Every ban is posted to your mod channel with an Unban button, and the dashboard logs exactly why it happened.
What permissions does it need?
Only what its features use, like deleting messages, banning and muting members, and handing out a Verified role. If one is missing, the dashboard tells you which.
Do you store IP addresses?
Only from the captcha page, and only to catch alts and ban evaders. IP data is kept per community: admins of one server or group never see anything collected in another.
Can banned members appeal?
Yes. They can appeal privately through the bot, and your team can unban, unban with a warning, or keep the ban, right from the inbox.
Do I need to host or code anything?
No. Add the bot, sign in to the dashboard with your Discord or Telegram account, and switch on what you want.
